Trump\u2019s remarks offered the clearest indication yet of how Washington plans to deal with Iran\u2019s highly enriched uranium. The proposal comes after reports that Tehran reinforced underground nuclear sites by collapsing tunnels and laying explosive mines around entrances, making any retrieval operation far more complex.<\/p>\n

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said that while the chances of finalising the proposed Islamabad memorandum were high, a signing would not take place immediately.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlthough it will not happen tomorrow, the possibility that it could take place in the coming days cannot be ruled out,\u201d he said in remarks carried by Iranian state media.<\/p>\n
Baghaei added that the memorandum currently under discussion focused on ending the conflict and that \u201cat this stage, it has been decided that there will be no discussion of the nuclear issue.\u201d<\/p>\n
